La Universitatea oradeana din acest an academic sunt 15 facultati si nu 18 ca pana acum Si asta in urma reorganizarii impuse de noua lege. Facultatea de Stiinte Politice si Stiintele Comunicarii a devenit departament in noua Facultate de Istorie, Relatii Internationale, Stiinte Politice si Stiintele Comunicarii, care-l are ca decan pe Ioan Horga. Facultatea de Muzica a fost inglobata de Facultatea de Arte, condusa de Agneta Marcu, in timp ce fostele facultati de Energetica si de Textile si Pielarie au devenit departamente ale Facultatii de Inginerie Energetica

si Management Industrial, ce-l are in frunte pe Marcel Rosca. Pe langa aceste comasari, specializarile Geografie si Turism au fost transferate de la Facultatea de Istorie la cea de Educatie Fizica si Sport, care acum se numeste Facultatea de Geografie, Turism si Sport, condusa de acelasi decan Octavian Bac si de prodecanul Ioana Josan.
