Daca acum ii reproseaza lui Sever Voinescu faptul ca statea prost cu "acuitatea vizuala" in momentul votarii in Camera Deputatilor a legii pensiilor, pe cand era deputat democrat liberal, Octavian Bot avea o cu totul alta parere despre momentul respectiv.

In decembrie 2010, la Consiliul de Coordonare al PDL Bihor, actualul parlamentar PNL respingea ferm  acuzatiile de frauda venite din partea  opozitiei.
